  • Grants and loans approved for sewer improvements

    Rocky Hill is one of the six towns forming part of the $277m project funded by the state to prevent storms from making the sewer systems overflow.

  • Farmington Bank branch coming to Rocky Hill

    As of January 23, 366 Cromwell Avenue in Rocky Hill has been be home to a branch of Farmington Bank. The company designed the branch to be appealing to customers, yet modern with a drive thru window. In addition, the customer floor space totals 1,800 square feet.

  • Connecticut minimum wage continues to rise

    As of the beginning of this year, Connecticut's minimum hourly wage has risen from $8.25 to $8.70, increasing the minimum hourly salary from $17,160 to $18,096. Wages are set to increase again at the beginning of next year when the minimum hourly wage will reach $9.

  • Honors college helps students think big

    Rocky Hill's Imran Tariq is one of 19 first-year students to have earned a place in the Honors Program at Middlesex Community College.
